This is a bank of questions which instructors can ask their students in a poll format at the start of class. You can draw from these at will, and adapt them to produce your own questions. They are organized by topic.
You can adapt these questions for large and small classes. For large classes, you can create a Canvas or Google Forms quiz for students to take online, or an iClicker quiz for them to take in class, with multiple choice answers. For small seminar-style classes, you can provide open-ended questions on a document for them to edit and submit at home, or fill out on paper in class. This resource provides two example templates, one as an online quiz for a large class, one as a worksheet for a small class. This resource is part of the Teaching Comparative Politics Resource Collection.
