De-Centering the U.S. in the Global Politics Classroom Resource Collection

When teaching about global politics, we often confront a dilemma: how can we help our students understand there are multiple perspectives to global political issues? This is a particularly important challenge to instructors at institutions where most students have never been outside the U.S.

Addressing this dilemma was the impetus for our February 2024 virtual teaching symposium: "De-Centering the U.S. in the Global Politics Classroom." The result is an original teaching resource collection designed to help instructors integrate intercultural perspectives into their courses.
