This set of documents is useful for setting up interactive small group work for online or hybrid classes using MS Teams. The instructor creates the class and the groups (channels) in Teams. Students are given the freedom to complete the group assignment synchronously or asynchronously, depending on their schedules. Teams allows for screen and file sharing, chatting, and Word markup. The setup allows students in each group to self-select their role in the group, which encourages buy-in and full participation from each member of the group. The group assignments (due every two weeks) encourage student engagement.
