The link below is to an interactive map that displays variables affecting the erosion of democratic systems, together with brief narratives describing the variables and their effects. It can be used in lectures on threats to democracy, or as a tool for student research on specific countries or political processes. It would be appropriate for both the undergraduate and the M.A. level. The map is available to anyone without charge. This interactive teaching tool was developed in partnership with the Toda Peace Institute and the Lowy Institute.
